Q: How does it alert you if you baby doesn't brearh? e.g. does it make an alarm on you phone? If so, after how long?

It makes a very loud alarm ringing noise from the monitor itself which is attached to the cot. It won’t go off unless you go in and turn it off. I can’t remember how long until it alarms but it should say on the item description details

Q: Is this compatible with a Chicco Next2me crib?

Yes and No - the instructions actually say to make sure the crib isn’t touching your bed and that next to me cribs would be incompatible. The sensors are extremely sensitive, they’ll pick up the heartbeat/breathing/movement from the adult bed rather than the crib so would be pointless. We had our next to be crib zipped up and an inch or so away from our bed which was fine as I could still see through the mesh sides and lean over to soothe my baby when I wanted to 😊

Q: Can this be used with a clevamama mattress?

Not familiar with the clever mamma mattress but If is not thicker than 10cm It should work just fine.

Q: anyone using this with a crib that doesn’t have bars as shown in the photos, eg Shnuggle Air Crib? Just wondering how you have managed the wires?

We’ve used these on two separate crib types that don’t have bars (and one that does) one had some holes as part of the design in the corner and we poked the cables there and the other was not ideal as there was a obvious answer so we had to run the cable over the edge neatly and tucked away. The cable and connector is really thin so maybe check first for any places you could safely run it
