Doesn't work like the Creekside Focused Mind Jr. Chewable.
The Focused Mind Jr ones work, these didn't. My youngest son has had trouble with focus, only focus; not behavior or hyperactivity. The easy melts worked but he gagged at the taste. I had to melt them down and put in his OJ and then his drink at lunch and he still detected it. So I bought these capsules. These have little no no effect what so ever. I have no idea the Focused Mind Jr. Easy melt chewable ones work and this doesn't. It has to have different ingredients. Ok I just looked it up and it does have different formulas. One has Inositol (that was the Jr that worked) and the other has Cognizin. The 10+ Focused Mind did nothing for my son.

I'm sure it works for some kids, but for mine it made no difference. Every person is different, which means how they react to things will be different as well. basically don't discount it just because of this review.

Made my son worse!
Unfortunately my son had a very negative reaction to this product. He is 11 yr and is 5' 2 weighs 90 lbs (very tall for his age). After only 4 days on this supplement (and taking fish oil with it as recommended) my son became irritable, aggressive, and spaced out. It was almost as though someone had given him an energy drink. My son has ADD not ADHD (he is not hyperactive) and this supplement made him agitated and defiant. After stopping the supplement his behavior went back to normal immediately. Do your research on the two main ingredients (Citicoline and Phosphatidylserine). One of them is only administered in Europe as a prescription. Just because something claims to be "Natural" doesn't always mean that it is safe to take. These may be "Natural" and non-habit forming, but I found them to have the same negative side effects I have read about, that many of the stimulent medications have. I plan on just sticking to plain old fish oil....hopefully that will help him to focus better at school.

He is taking them with the fish oil as is recommended. I'm not sure exactly what my expectation was
I recently purchased this item after researching a natural way of helping my 8 year old calm down. I chose this product because of it's story of creation as well as the reviews I read. We are just 30 days into the use of these pills. He is taking them with the fish oil as is recommended. I'm not sure exactly what my expectation was. I have a child that is very active and has issues with impulse control at times and I have to often say get control. Taking these has now become a part of his every day routine and he'll even say to me - Mom, I need my chill pills. I haven't noticed a huge change in him but I've asked him if he feels that they are helpful and he says yes. We'll likely continue using these for at least 3 months to see what continued difference we see.
