Not all its claimed to be.
Even though it was claimed and even engraved on the plate this would fit the ruger LC380. But it does not fit into the dovetail of the LC380 properly. When I submitted the question with a picture I received a response from ADE to shim it with a cutting from a pop can. Does not make sense to me to buy something that is supposed to fit and have to shim it with a pop can.

Great red dot sight
Installed on easily on my Rugar LC9s. Used a laser to adjust the sight. Went to the range . The first 10 shots were right on then it wouldn't hold zero. I realized the two little allen screws were loose. I have now used blue locktight one the screws which should make it hold zero. Sight worked as advertised

Installed myelf on LC9s
I felt the adaptor plate provided was not an exact fit. It cants up in the front, meaning I had to shim the rear portion of the sight in order to have enough range in the elevation screw to pre-zero the sight. I say pre-zero, because I still need to do live fire sight in.I liked that it came with an adaptor plate. The plate is a bit long. I had to grind the front corners to protect fingers while racking the slide.I like that it came with a picatinny adaptor, so it can be remounted on other platforms. The dot is sharp and adjustable brightness. The unit seems well made. While it looks a bit large for the gun, it does work. I cannot speak to toughness or longevity, because I just installed it today.I don't like that I'll need to remove the sight from the gun to change the battery, but I reckon that goes with the territory on this type of sight.I like that the sight adjustments, elevation and windage have locking screws to prevent drifting. They must be loosened prior to adjustment so as not to damage the unit.I don't like that it does not have auto-shutoff to save battery life. That should be standard on electronic sights. I have seen some that do, and even have motion auto-on for self defense. This one is manually switched, so might be lacking for concealed carry, self defense. Finally, I thought the instructions were insufficient. But it's not my first rodeo, and I was able to figure out what to do and got the job done. I liked that all necessary tools, mounts, screws and rubber buffer were included. No shims, but the manufacturer will send them out for free. The only tools I supplied was a hammer and punch.

Lc9 red dot mounting plate garbage
Mounting plate kept getting loose when I got it to stay tight it threw the mounting plate clear out the rear sight groove and shaved some metal off the red dot mount sight held zero until the mount gave way would not use mounting plate to dangerous if u like ur eyes don't use mount buy a better mounting plate

Ease of installation
Received as a gift (that I asked for lol). Wanted it for my Ruger LC9s. After I realized that the main picatinny rail mount that came with the red dot was not needed, everything went together smoothly. I only needed the supplied mount with a dove tail that fit into the iron sight slot. I was trying to put the LC9s adapter plate into the picatinny mount and it was not working. Once I became smarter then the mount, I succeeded. I machined the LC9s adapter plate to match the bottom of the Red Dot so it looks like a better fit. Also had to modify 2 of my carry holsters to accommodate the sight but that was simple enough. Have not put any rounds through the gun yet to see how it withstands recoil but so far very happy. Oh yea, I used a laser bore sighter to adjust the Red Dot which adjusted very easy. If after running some rounds through I am happy with how it holds, I intend to get one for my P-85 as well.

Does not sit flush with the slide
Found that the adapter plate does not sit flush with the top of the slide. I had to add some shims to the bottom of the plate in order to be able to sight in the dot.

Very universal
I liked it came with extra mounting for picatinny rail
