Better take some adhesive with you the feathers cover a cardboard thin tin board so if you are driving, sitting on a chair or sofa etc the feathers will rub off. You can get a few wears out of it if you reattach feathers, still a good value for the money. I wear a small top if you wear large or higher the fit may be a little off. At work people were bringing me feathers that came off.

After reading some of the reviews about pieces falling off, I had low expectations. But my daughter needed it last moment for ComicCon as part of Castiel costume, and it worked well. A few tiny pieces fell off when taken out of the package and fluffed up, but nothing visible, and it lasted the whole day of her walking around ComicCon. Still in good shape to reuse. Also I'm 5'6" of average weight and it fit me as well, so it's not just for kids.

I got this for my Halloween costume: Saleesi, Mother of Crows (a play on Game of Thrones Khaleesi, Mother of Dragons). I wore a long black gown, had crows and I wanted wings to finish the look. These were the perfect choice. They were comfortable enough, the arm bands were stretchy and held the wings in place and the wings looked well-made, especially for what I paid. I think these are a nice quality. I also have broad shoulders, but that was not a problem with these. They fit well and looked to be an appropriate size on me.I'd highly recommend these for anyone looking for black wings for a costume.

So if you are looking for giant, Victoria's Secret type wings, these aren't for you.The size is great for a kid. My daughter is just shy of 5' and 90lbs, and these fit her perfect. On me (5'7", 135lbs), they fit a bit tight on the arms, and look like I'm wearing kiddie wings.There are 2 wired cardboard forms covered in a single layer of overlapping feathers. We easily added (with a glue gun) almost 2 bags of extra feathers for extra color and fullness.They have a nice shape, held up well through school and trick or treating in the rain, and my daughter barely complained about the arm elastics.Not bad for the price, but definitely not great for adults.

These feathered wings are beautifully made and at a super reasonable price too.With caution, you're able to bend & stretch these wings out, and it is kept in place. The base is cardboard and thick metal wire. Also the wings are equipped with elastic loops for each arm.These wings (65cm) are not big for adults, however it still offers a good visual impact. These are perfect for kids and young teens. The wing span for the little ones is pretty dramatic when worn. Plus, these are amazing for purposes of decor.There will be some feather loss, but very few, and not noticeable.For my purposes, I got two pairs of wings as a Halloween decoration/prop for two of my lifesize 5' skeletons. Each were dressed with a pair of wings. Very "badass" indeed.Highly recommend these.

My tween wanted to be a 'demon crow' for Halloween and these were perfect for her costume. Looked a little flimsy when we got them but they held up pretty well for trick or treating.

As expected these wings took a beating at a school festival for Halloween and came home with tears and feathers missing. It had started to loose feathers as soon as it was taken out of the package. Nothing that a package of white craft feathers (less than $2.00 at Wal-Mart) and some hot clue couldn't fix. The wings looked brand new for Halloween trick-or-treating and lost no more feathers.I rated these wings three stars because of the added work and cost to make them functional for a costume piece. At a cost of $10.00 for the wings it would be nice if it had survived a few uses before being repaired. If you have enough time, you can always buy the cardboard, elastic, feathers, and hot glue to make your own wings.Overall, these wings worked for what we needed and with less than an hour of work you can improve the quality with minimal hot glue pain because of gluing thin feathers one at a time!
