I have oily scalp and roots and dry ends (very long wavy thick hair) this shampoo works beautifully and I’ve tried a lot of different clarifying shampoos over the years but this one is a game changer!The texture is nice almost like honey, it has a very mild neutral scent, it did suds up a lot which is a plus and it totally changed my hair and oily scalp for the better and rinsed out cleanly.It managed to totally remove oil and build up but at the same time didn’t dry my hair out at all so now my hair is so much softer, shinier and has less frizz too.I only need to use this clarifying shampoo 1x a week but I found that during the other days my usual shampoos and conditioners work so much better now. This is totally worth the price in my opinion.

After decades of torturing my hair I finally decided to show it some love. Two days after having my usual highlighting, I just washed my hair with this fabulous shampoo. I felt that it smelled too good to accomplish anything but at least it wasn't supposed to strip my highlights. While I was rinsing my hair I felt how "squeeky clean" it was. With the amount of abuse it has gone through, it's a sound and feel that I was not used to.I used their leave-in conditioner and am happy to say that my hair feels and looks amazing with a shine it hasn't had in a while. Worth every penny.

Great shampoo when you need a break from your other shampoo. Cleans hair and residue from product left behind from your other shampoo. An all around great product!

Definitely worth the price. Great for oily hair and after using lots of hairspray. Removes build-up, smells great, and leaves my hair really soft.

I love everything Ouai lately! I have so much because it all smells amazing! I have two other hair detox brands but this one is my favorite! Try it! Works great to get rid of product (have wavy curls so use curl cream (love one by Ouai) and gel, etc.. also if you have hard water. Lathers up well, smells wonderful and leaves scalp very clean.

I love this shampoo. It clears product buildup but leaves hair soft and scalp clean, no need for conditioner afterwards. It has a nice light fragrance. I use it a few times a week.
