Best thing ever if you have kids
Two thumbs up! Easy install. Works great. Makes it nice to access the coach without the key. We camp and ride with our friends and families. If we split up for activities anyone that has access can get in and we’re not leaving it unlocked like we used to. It’s a little pricey but worth it. If you’ve ever had a Ford with the key pad for the door you know what I mean. The app is okay, but when you can walk right up with the code it’s more of a party trick. 2023 Heartland Cyclone 3714.

Keep your key lock instead
I would have given a no-star, if possible. We have had this lock for two years now. We got locked out of our RV a few times while on the road, and learned the bluetooth capability is useless. We had to reset the lock many times, and had to ensure we had a key with us at all times. Finally the lock stopped working, so we had to just use our key. I am now changing to the RV Lock... we will see how well it works.

Prompt Service
This was just what we needed and arrived so quickly. My husband installed it easily. We are camped at a State Park without great internet so I will install all of the great extras when we get home, but for now, it replaced our damaged lock.

This is a great upgrade but most useful when teamed with same-keyed storage locks
We had one of these on a previous trailer. When we traded that trailer, we were back to the manual lock and a separate key for storage. I looked for this brand as my experience with it was positive. I also ordered locks for the storage and outdoor shower with the same keying. My experience with this one is overall positive, but I do have a couple of issues. One is that the touchpad keys are discoloring. The previous lock I had did not have this issue. The second is that there does not seem to be much of a detent holding the deadbolt open so if I touch the manual lockiing lever inadvertently, the deadbolt will extend enough to prevent the door from shutting or, if it allows the door to shut, won't allow the lock to extend unless I open the door first and make sure the manual lever is fully unlocked. Still, I am overall pleased with this upgrade and would recommend it.

Great product
So much better for our RV instead of keys. We lock and unlock it wit( our iPhones. Our neighbor has our code in case of emergency. Much easier for both them and us.

Bauer not backing their product
Last November I bought a Bauer Bluetooth RV lock for my new trailer. I decided to try Bauer over the previous locks I had for previous trailers. It worked great a few times and then all of a sudden it would not unlock with the buttons and then with the Bluetooth, intermittently. With winter, I stopped camping until this previous May. The problem became worse. I phoned Bauer who said it was under warranty and told me what I needed to do including what pictures they wanted, which I did. One photograph included hanging the handle carefully by its wires so I could take a picture of inside the lock as they wanted. They said I must have abused the lock and for that reason it was no longer under warranty. Obviously the picture I took had nothing to do with the lock not working before hand. Shame on Bauer for not backing their product and making up a reason not to. I will go out and buy a Lippert lock like I originally thought too. My bad mistake for thinking Bauer was a reputable company. I will pass this along.

Not Worth the Money
So, I have intentionally waited a month or so to write this review. The idea of this item is excellent, but that is where it stops.Installation was easy, but it did not allow the door to close smoothly. The parts will not allow the door to shut without hitting. When I look, I can see wear marks where this is happening. I have worked on it several times attempting to correct the issue and it did improve, but it does not operate like the one from the factory. I still have to slam the door to get it to close. The programming of the Bluetooth was not as easy and straight forward as most Bluetooth items are. I am pretty tech savvy, and I was ready to scream. I called the Bauer tech support for assistance. I must say that although I give the product two stars, the tech support receives fifteen stars. They finally got me walked through the process after several attempts. The push button code works seamlessly, however the function that allows the door to be unlocked with a single button upon approach never works. You must pull your phone out and open the app in order for this function to operate correctly. If am am going to do that, I could just as easily push the unlock button, or though you would think. My Bluetooth range is literally like 6 feet. I have a Grand Design 310 gk and I can not lay in the bed and utilize the app.I purchased this item due to all of the features, but none of them function completely as advertised. I could have gotten a much cheaper lock, with a remote and a keypad that would have worked much better than this Bauer lock.

No keys needed
I like that it has code entry and bluetooth to your phone to lock and unlock, good to have a key backup as well. Only dislike is it loses sync with my Android constantly but my hubby's iPhone works fine, I'm ok with that as I use the code to access and the quick lock when leaving. Overall it's a good deal, installed in existing door hole just fine.
