... in my metal filing cabinet - they are the perfect solution for that purpose
Using these magnetic bookends to hold up files in my metal filing cabinet - they are the perfect solution for that purpose.

Good idea, poor execution
Great idea to add things on top of a metal shelf or in my case cook books on top of my fridge, poor execution as the metal is too thin and after a few books, the end just can't cope with the weight of the bigger cooking books.

Works great for holding up my file folders
These magnetic bookends are doing exactly what I needed them to do. Yes sometimes the magnets are not quite strong enough for the number of files they are holding up but they do not fall over easily. I have them in a file cabinet where the door flips up and the drawer pulls out - they are working perfectly for my situation.

Seem to work
I ordered these to use inside some metal file drawers. They seem to work good. The only reason I took off one star is because one of the bookends had two magnetic pieces glued to the bottom, with one of those pieces skewed. Since it's in a file drawer and doesn't show, it will do.

Good to Hold Light folders and Magazines. Magnets are pretty strong. Not great for large, heavy books
They're ok. The magnets do stay put on top of my rolling metal file cabinet. However, you can't put really tall books between these things, they just aren't powerful enough. Good to hold light folders and magazines.
