Had it sitting on a metal stand and the wind broke it off the base no more than ten miles an hour

Motion detection doesn't work. I even replaced solar batteries with fresh solar batteries still didn't work. Buy the one with out motion and save the extra money

The owl is lightweight . The solar part works well and the owl makes noise and eyes light up when it detects motion. I have one stubborn bird that is not detoured. I am going to try to move the owl to see if it helps.

I like that it is solar but the sound is barely audible. I bought to use as a prop on a Halloween hayride and really don't think anyone will hear the faint sound coming from the owl.

Works as advertised. I installed mine on the side of a house about 20ft up and the motion sensor still picks me when I walk by. The eyes are like mission impossible web of red dots. The only thing I had to do was relocate the solar panel to the front of the head which was due to sun / where I wanted the owl to sit.

Worked like is suppose to, but the birds not so much afraid and still came the blueberry bushes and the fruit.

Had a bird or birds attacking my wife’s car tried everything I could think of to stop them and bought the Careland Solar Fake Owl Decoy and so far no more attacks to clean up. Thinking about buying another for another location.
