I used this for my partner who is amazing at losing her keys , mobile phone etc. throughout the house. The product is a bargain and does work quite well, maybe the beeping of the fobs could be a bit louder as sometimes you can't quite pinpoint the direction from where it is coming from, but the two Jack Russel Terriers usually point is in the right direction. :-) I would certainly recommend these as a cheap and effective key or phone etc. finder

What you get:1 transmitter and 4 different colour coded key fobs.The transmitter requires 2 X AAA batteries (not supplied). Each fob requires 1 X CR2032 battery (supplied) to be fitted into its compartment.Installation and set-up:The fob battery compartments are opened using the edge of a coin to unscrew the cap exposing the battery seating area. People with poor dexterity in their fingers may find inserting the battery into position in the key fob and screwing the compartment cap back on again a bit fiddly.Each of the 4 buttons on the transmitter have a key design of a different colour matching the colours on the key fobs. You are supplied with 2 sticky back paper labels (use one label, the other is a spare) which you write what each key colour on the transmitter represents then attach the label to the back of the transmitter.Operation:Pressing one of the buttons makes the corresponding key fob beep loudly several times. The manufacturer recommends replacing the CR2032 batteries at least once a year, dependant on usage.Findings:I closed all the interior doors in my house, placed the key fob in one of the bedrooms in-between two pillows then stood in the kitchen to test it. I could hear the beeping fob (I'm not being rude here) through 2 floors, 3 rooms and the hallway & landing. Admittedly, it was faint initially, with the pillows absorbing a lot of the sound but as I homed in it became clearer. Same test without the pillows yielded a clearer sound.

Bought for relative with early stage dementia who keeps loosing keys. Happy with product, bleep a little quiet if in a draw or under something but on the whole working well so far. Thanks

Good little device if wanted for keys. Wouldn’t recommend if wanted for finding your phone as bigger than expected and would get in your way.

Easy to set up snd perfect size to put in mums keys and purse as she is always losing them and I don’t have to spend hours searching she has dementia so they are perfect

Saved us untold time looking for keys. Works very well throughout the house and reaches through walls and into the garden. Very good!
