Light-years ahead of the inferior quality OEM product that came with my basketball setup. Heavy duty with double closure - zipper and velcro flap. Holds 32 pounds of sand - a bit less than the listing but entirely adequate.

I just filled these bags with Quikrete Play Sand in the backyard. Since the sealed bags of Quickrete Play Sand were sitting out in the backyard, they got moist from rain and the elements even though they were new and sealed. I was only able to get 22-23lbs of "moist" sand into each bag. If the sand was powder dry, I'm guessing it would've been at around 20lbs per bag. The only way I imagine the manufacturer was able to get 30lbs into each bag would've been to stuff them with wet sand to the max. Like "bursting at the seams" max. The inner liner bag has three rows of velcro to secure the opening. Good quality velcro too. Nice and "sticky." The weak point may be the bag seams, as the bags are only single stitched at the seams. A double stitch would've taken literally 3 seconds to add at the factory. Not sure why they skimped on that.Overall for the current price of $20 for 2 bags. It's a decent deal. If the bags were larger and heavier, kids would not be able to easily move them. Which means, they won't be able to help set up and put away. I don't mind the smaller size of these sandbags. Just advertise them as 22-23lb bags (10 kilos). No need to inflate the numbers and make it look like a bigger bag that it actually is.

Ordered 2 sets. They do a great job anchoring my off-side patio umbrella. We filled them with rocks.

These are rugged but do not hold 40 lbs of sand.

We have a few different things that we use in the backyard that we need some anchors for. Umbrellas, canopies, soccer goals and a basketball hoop with a water filled base. These work just like they are suppose to. They seem plenty durable and they are convenient to move around. We will use them for addition anchor for our umbrella and then when we are done we will through them on the basketball hoop to provide extra support there.
