I've used this particular brand of power supply for a few years and have been very pleased with them. I use them to drive LED strips for aquarium lighting. They run relatively cool and consume surprising little electricity. I don't overload these units, running them at around 80% of their rated capacity and have had no issues. Set 'em and forget 'em!

Did exactly what I needed and is waterproof

The power supply for my Christmas light laser projector failed. A little solder, heat shrink, and tape and the project works better than every using this power supply. Much cheaper than buying a whole new laser light projector.

Had a Goosh Christmas inflatable fry its power supply after 1 week of use.The original was a 2.0 amp supply, and after replacing it with this 2.5 amp supply it worked fine for the rest of the season. I had to cut off the existing connector and use silicon filled wire nuts to connect it, but it is totally waterproof now.

installed this and now my led lights won't stop blinking. just wondering if i need one with more watts or amps?
