Before buying, I looked around at the reviews and questions to see if this thing stays on all night. It seems there are conflicting answers in the Q&A section. The light I received doesn't stay on all night. It shuts off after 2 hours. I can see that the seller called this a "defect" in the Q&A section, but it states in the manual that it's designed to shut off after 2 hours of inaction. Maybe indefinite on is a defect?? Either way, I would have liked the option to leave this on indefinitely, no 2 hour shut off. I use it as a night light for the bathroom so the kids can see. Doesn't help if it's off.Aside from that, it's perfectly cute and soft. I can't think of a better night light! "Breathing mode", I'm assuming, is just when the light cycles through a bunch of colors. The brightness controls don't seem to work during breathing mode, so it's kind of like Times Square in your room.If I could leave the light on indefinitely, it'd be 5 stars.

Pros: The kitty shape is so cute. Also, the colors are very pleasing. The silicone is soft and squishy. It has adjustable brightness and timer settings. Overall this is a must-have item. How could anyone not like one of these?Some things about it are less than ideal, but it is just. so. cute! The cons: the plug-in jack is in the bottom of the kitty so it can't charge and stand upright at the same time. The light source piece sometimes pops off of the silicone piece and is a little hard to get back on. The flash function is kind of annoying.Even with the cons, this kitty should probably be in your cart now.

I bought this for a middle of the night nursing night light; it’s nice and bright but with the remote you can adjust the brightness. It has quite a few features with the remote (mine was accidentally thrown away but the night light is still awesome)It has a button on the bottom to turn it on, you can tap the night light to choose white light or color changing light and tap to turn off. It stays on for two hours if you don’t turn it off. As the night light loses battery the light gets dimmer and dimmer over the course of a few days, which is actually one of my favorite features. It goes on a charger and will have a small red light indicating it’s charging.Overall it’s a great product, I’m considering buying another for the remote and giving this one to my niece. Plus it’s adorable!

Super fun, soft light! I wanted this for my toddler's room as a night light but because it automatically switches to a strobe mode that flashes through all the colors when touched, it wouldn't work for us in that capacity (not the relaxing light I was looking for). With that said, for the price, this is a really fun little light. We love the remote and have had a lot of fun with it!You can change the color of the light with the remote but once you touch the light it switches back to the strobe mode and flashes through all of the colors, that is what I didn't understand when I bought it. Still a fun gift!

My kids put this thing through the ringer and it is still in tacked. If you have destructor children I recommend this. Been through 2 night lights already. Plus I don't have to plug it in to an outlet just charge it during the day and it'll go all night. So I don't have to worry about them playing with the outlet. And its just super cute. Cant figure out the clapping part though. But the remote and tapping it works so no biggy.

Remote control doesn't work but my niece didn't want to return it. Frustrated that the seller was not easy to communicate with. They wanted me to send a picture but this isn't an option in the contact tool and they didn't seem to understand that. New batteries are in the remote but the remote doesn't work. Light works fine and she's happy with it just bummed she can't use the remote.

I would have given this 4 or 5 stars, but we have had this less than a month and red no longer works. My daughter loves to fall asleep with it on every night and uses the “fade” setting, so it fades from one color to another, but when it gets to red it just goes dark before fading to the next color. When I first press fade on the remote, it goes dark and I have to tilt the light until it goes on and then place it gently back on the table... try teaching that to a 7 year old! Very disappointed that it didn’t last longer than a few weeks at its full capacity.

My daughter loves this light! It is cute, a good size, has a variety of colors and seems pretty durable. I was surprised at how long it can be used between charges. When using the 90 minute timer we can use it every night for a week before we have to charge it again and it charges fast. It is pretty bright, I keep it on the lowest setting for brightness. The controls are very limited without the remote, so don't lose it!I am very happy with this purchase.
