I've gotten to frustrated with my plants floating in the aquarium as sin as I plant them. This is safe, super easy to use and does the job. Makes planting pleasant and super easy to cut and bend, twist...only need a small amount!!

This product did just what it was supposed to do. It was easy and is keeping our plants down! Highly recommend.

Work well, can be snipped in half with scissors. Generally these not really made of lead anymore but is still a pretty soft metal alloy. No signs of rust or anything in the aquarium after being in there for 6 months.

Good weights for holding the plants in place. 50 of them for a good price, I’ll probably never use them all. I haven’t noticed any overly sharp edges on the several I have already used. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that they really need some sort of pattern or grove to give the plant something to grip to, with it being flat, I had to wrap it a little tighter than what I was comfortable with. I would still rate it 4.75 stars, and would buy it again if I needed more for that price.

Used them for weighing down plants so they don't float away in an aquarium. You know, what they're advertised for.Seriously, a lot more useful than the thick lead wire that's advertised for the same purpose. That stuff is thick and can hardly be bent without using pliers.They'd be even better, though, if they were even thinner. Easier to bend to shape around a plant stem that might be easily broken. Depends, of course, on how thick the plant stems are.

Good product, Easy to use!!I decided to modify (see photo.) To protect our sensitive Shrimps and Fish, I cut pieces of lead and inserted into lengths of scrap aquarium tubing. Then put in a bit of super glue in the ends and clamped with clothespins to dry. It works like a champ and our creatures are protected. Note: Always wash hands immediately after handling lead and do not allow children to handle. Thanks!
