Nobo Telescopic Pointer Pen,Black, Silver

My daughter purchased this pointer pen for her teacher as a leaving gift at the end of term.She has been witnessing her teacher flinch for the past 3 months whilst pointing to the board in school due to an old injury which has started to trouble her. My daughter approached me and asked if there was anything that I could suggest to help her teacher as she didnt want to just give her teacher the usual gift of flowers, chocolates or a mug and she wanted something that would help with her teachers pain.I showed her a few of these pointers and this is the one that she chose mainly because it has the added bonus of having a pen included also.The pen/point has a great build quality and when the pointer is extended it is a very stable solid extension which doesnt bend under the pivot weight. As a bonus the pen worked perfectly also.I am so very proud of my daughter, she is such a thoughtful, caring child. I am very pleased with the quality of this pointer/pen and her teacher is very pleased also.When writing a review I try to consider what I would like to know before purchasing an item online and this is what I base my reviews on. The pointer fits nicely in my pocket and has a nice solid feel. However, the built in pen is rubbish. The lid takes about 50 turns (slight exaggeration) to take off and the pen tip barely sticks out making it difficult to write with. Then after just six months the pen leaked and made a right mess. My recommendation is to remove the pen bit on delivery.

I dislike the laser pointers people often use, as the dot is very hard for some people to see. This is much better, as there is no doubt where you are pointing. Low tech is sometimes the better tech!

I teach piano - its not as good as a laser light, as the end is a 'bobble' and too thick to point at small notes - but you don't need batteries which is good

On time, on price, no fuss.

Fantastic little pointer. Seems sturdy, and pretty easy to extend and retract. Not much else can be said.

i've used it with my powerpoint presentations teaching to a room of lazy students.. easy to carry around.. can be used to poke the students who fall asleep also..

Great presentation pointer - although the pen is not that useful as it needs lots of effort to take the top off.
