Great Fan, worth the money
The fan is a lot larger than I was expecting which took me by surprise. It’s easy set up and works really well. It’s fairly quiet and the different levels are good, I typically use level 3. I like that at night you have the quiet option and can turn off the digital display, which is a great feature as it is bright and lights up the room. Will be interesting to see how much my electric bill increases with the constant usage of it at night during these hot days/nights.

I am a big fan
This is a big, beautiful fan for those hot, hot days and nights.Got this as a help for cooling the house in the summer and am very happy with its effectiveness. It is very easy to get to grips with and has some useful options. The available modes are a nice touch, especially the nighttime/quiet mode and automated mode. I have made a lot of use with these. There may be fancier fans out there, but this one has certainly ticked every box for me.

Really good value and works well.
I don’t normally write reviews but this fan is really good value. I really didn’t know how much to spend and there are so many different reviews on various makes that it just confused me even more! I’m really pleased with my choice. It arrived quickly with pretty much no assembly just the low stand which was really easy to clip on. Good choice of various fan speeds and timers. I like that you can put it on night mode and timer and you don’t have any bright lights on in the night. It’s great to have the remote so if you want to change the fan speed during the night you don’t have to get out of bed! The fan is quiet on low speed. Very happy with it and will purchase another one.

Excellent fan, watch out for coil whine
Had this fan for a full month now and it's superb in many ways...Except one issue: coil whine. Before I get into that, I have to say everything else about it is great. Quiet, high quality, it looks great (they should do a matt black version), the controls are neat (tho the buttons are a bit finicky when the display goes to sleep - you have to press a button to wake it, and quickly again to change mode/speed/whatever - not a big deal). The physical buttons on the remote are better honestly. After the first few days I didn't really notice it, but then a subtle, high-pitch whir, constantly emanated from the motor. This wasn't much noticeable at speed 3 or above but I got this fan for sleep, where speeds 1/2 were more appropriate for the distance. Only way to describe it was a conveyor belt of glass bottles rattling in a distant warehouse (oddly specific I know). But it was getting on my t*ts and I umm'd and arr'd returning it - for 3 weeks. Asked my bro if he could hear it - yea, barely, but thought I was fussing over nothing. I'm in my early 50s and lately been picking up higher frequencies (need to get m' hearing checked out f'sho) BUT none of the other cheap blade / tower fans in the home, with their rickety swivels and much louder gusts of air, bothered me this much. So, I asked Amazon for a return, and an identical replacement (fingers crossed).VINDICATION. The brand new, identical, fan arrived and I had them standing side-by-side. Clearly, there was a real, empirical, difference to my ears, and my bro had to agree. High pitch noise was gone! While the replacement wasn't perfect - the whine replaced with a quiet transformer-like hum (which wasn't present on my first fan) - this was infinitely more tolerable and, quite frankly, most people probably wouldn't even notice - particularly with nothing to compare it against. I only mention it coz there seems to be some variability in the quality of the motors. Perhaps I just got a faulty one?All in all a pretty great fan. 4 stars for visibility only, honestly still deserves 5 stars, or close to it. If you have sensitive hearing, just look out for the coil whine.Edit: 1 year later. Fan developed a fault (oscillation mode caused a cut-out and emergency stop). Contacted Levoit CS and they sent out a brand new replacement! Didn't even ask for the faulty one back (still works but not in oscillation / sleep mode sadly, but at least it's not e-waste). Superb support, and for this reason it's back to 5 stars from me!

Extremely quiet - wide arc of oscillation cools brilliantly
Really good fan, extremely quiet and wide arc cools even large rooms easily. Love the variations in breeze settings, not too harsh even on the higher levels never feels like being pummelled like some other fans. The remote is very handy a definite bonus on hot days when getting up is a chore!

Great fan
Great fan, had to buy a second one for my mum. The fan is quiet and powerful. I really like the auto function, where the fan manages the speed of the fan based on the room temp. Like other Levoit devices, well made and easy to use.

It's quiet enough for the bedroom at night, it works well, has some nice features & it's well made
It's big & it wasn't cheap, but it's a quality product that seems well made & I think it was worth the money. The most important feature for me, is that it's quiet enough to use in the bedroom at night. It also has a useful preset night program which promises to drop the fan speed when the temperature drops a few degrees (confirmed). We started using it on fan1 the first night but, every night this last week, we've had it on fan2 & I may even try fan3 some night soon if it get's really hot.The slower the fan speed, the quieter it is, of course, but we haven't needed to use the higher fan speeds (4 & 5) which are noisier or the fan turbo setting which adds even more noise. The only quibble I have is that, to ensure the breeze spans the bedroom is not blocked by furniture, I've put it on top of a chest of drawers. This means that, because it's so high, we can't see the control panel which is on the top. But, the remote controls everything we need & we can guess what the display says by what the fan is doing. Fast, slow, oscillate, fanspeed, turbo, programThe whole fan oscillates (90 degrees) only the base remains static.Only the base (less than 12") needs to be assembled & attached (very easy).Update: 3 weeks later, I'm still glad I bought it despite the expense
