Great value for your dollar!
Works great on my 3/4" PEX B plumbing. Nice that that the set came with 1/2" and 3/4" SS clamps. First time using this method of piping. The clamp tool does need to be pressed into the fitting a bit so that it does slip off, but I suspect this is true of any brand of tool based on the clamp design.I'm pretty picky about quality and I was completely satisfied with the materials and build of the tools. The cutter seems a bit on the cheaper side, but it cut just fine and I don't see any weak points as far as construction. Both tools have a rubberized or vinyl coating on the handles and were easy enough to use for a first timer.

Reliable, no-BS tool—makes tight crimps and tighter timelines
Been using this since May 2024 and it’s become my go-to for clamp rings. One-handed operation is smooth, the ratchet’s tight, and it doesn't feel like it's going to explode in your hand mid-squeeze like some of the cheapos out there. I’ve run 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1" clamps with it—no hiccups, no slippage, no drama. It comes with a gauge to check your crimps, which is handy if you’re training up greenhorns or just want to CYA on inspection day. Calibration held after a couple dozen jobs, no tweak needed yet. And yes—it actually cinches one-handed, unlike some "one-handed" tools that need a bench vise and prayer. If you’re running PEX on the regular and don’t want to waste time recalibrating junk, this is a solid investment. Toss it in your pouch or keep it in the van—it earns its spot either way.

Versatile Plumbing Tool Featuring a Great Size and Ease of Use
This crimp tool performs exactly what you need when applying and cinching your PEX plumbing to joints and connectors. The tool's small size makes it easy to use, and it is fairly light weight even though it is solidly built. The kit also includes a perfectly-sized PEX cutting tool as well as several fittings to get your small project started. The tool itself can function to secure PEX sizes ranging from 3/8" to 1" and it can also function to remove cinches when needed. Having a removal tool as part of the actual PEX tool is a great advantage (by personal experience.) The handles on the tool will promote a good amount of comfort for your hands for a realistic job requiring multiple cinching of connections that can wear on the users hands. The tool also ratchets open, which is an advantage over a tool which must be pulled apart by hand.

Excellent Quality Tool
I am super impressed with the quality and functionality of the cinch and cutting tools in this kit. Both work excellent. The included assortment of stainless steel PEX clamp rings are also excellent quality. This tool was a game changer for me. It's SO much easier to use than the bulky PEX crimper I have, and it's so much more versatile because it fits in tighter spaces. I'm done using my old PEX crimper, and I will only be using this cinch tool from now on. It is a great value, and it's comes in a nice quality case. If needed, it's simple to remove a cinch ring, and the cinch rings are so much easier to place on the tubing without accidentally moving them out of position compared to a PEX crimper. The connections are every bit as reliable, if not moreso, because the cinch rings are stainless steel as opposed to copper.

A high quality tool at a great price!
I purchased this Pex A crimping tool to replace the old PVC lines serving our new hot water heater with Pex. The crimping tool worked perfectly, although it took greater hand strength to operate than an expensive model. To be clear, it didn’t take excessive strength, just a bit more. The action on the crimper was smooth and it came out of the box correctly calibrated. If you ever need to recalibrate it, a go/no-go gauge is included and adjustment is made with a knurled screw. The included pipe cutter was a pleasant surprise and worked perfectly. It was a real labor savor when I was cutting pipe in a cramped crawl space. I also appreciated the selection of crimping rings that came in the kit.Don’t let the low price fool you. This is a high quality tool that worked perfectly!

Absolutly AWESOME TOOL! Great for getting into tight spaces.
Here is the scenario. I was adding a water spigot onto our upper deck for watering our porch plants. The closest water source was the kitchen sink, which was problematic and time consuming to go in and out of the house for more water. So, I was going to tap into the 3/4" pex water line that went under the deck to an outside faucet . . . but as you can see from the second pic, it is pretty tight in there. I cut the line, and was able to pull one end out to install one side of the Tee. I had already pre-clamped the tubing to the side of the Tee going up to the new faucet. And I was able to pull the tubing out to clamp the 2nd "through" end of the Tee . . . . but no matter how much I contorted my body/hands, I could not get the crimper in to fasten the last ring clamp. The handles just opened too wide for the available space. I finally gave up and ordered this "one handed" ratcheting Pex crimping tool . . . . Viola! It fit right in, and the clamp was finally installed! Not only that, but I believe it will become my "go to" crimper for most of my other crimping needs! Excellent tool, and I highly recommend it!
