This thing’s been a little champ
I bought this about two months ago to add USB-A connections to my Mac mini M4, and I’m tickled pink with it. It’s clamped to the bottom of my HP VH240a monitor and I’m surprised at how stable it is. I can plug and remove things with one hand. The silicone pads grip well and the clamp is strong and stable. Having it attached to my monitor also frees up space on my desktop, which has really been nice. Very innovative design.I also like the long cord, which helps it reach the ports in the back of my old Lenovo PC. The C-to-A adapter allows me to use it even without a native USB-C port, and in fact adds one without having to install a card internally. That’s nice. The unit hasn’t gotten hot, and there haven’t been any issues with the hub ejecting my media (a problem I had with a previous one). The flash drive in the picture has been plugged in pretty much constantly for about two months and it’s stayed mounted the whole time. It even provides enough power to charge my iPhone and Apple Watch.I’m really reaching to find a criticism, but there’s not much there. The C-to-A adapter has a very short tether that I’ve been expecting to snap off, but that hasn’t happened so far. That’s about it. Its transfer speed isn’t the fastest in the world, but that’s not a problem for me. Mostly, I just want to plug in my thumb drives and the external HDD that I use for my Time Machine backup. It does what I ask it to do without complaints, and it’s done a few more things that I didn’t expect. I’m very pleased with my purchase. This thing has been a champ.

Perfect for Desk Organization
I picked up this ORICO USB hub because I was tired of reaching around the back of my PC every time I needed to plug in a flash drive or my external SSD. The clamp design is brilliant – it mounted securely to the edge of my desk in seconds, and it looks clean and professional. The build quality is solid too – metal, not cheap plastic, which was a nice surprise at this price point. The USB ports work great for data transfer. I’ve used all three USB-A ports and the USB-C port with no issues moving files from external drives and connecting peripherals like my webcam and mouse dongle. Speeds seem solid and consistent. My only real gripe is that it doesn’t really charge devices effectively. I tried plugging in my phone and wireless earbuds, and they either charged very slowly or not at all unless I added a separate power source. It’s fine for accessories, but if you’re hoping to use this as a charging station too, you’ll be disappointed unless you provide extra power. That said, for decluttering your desk and making your USB ports more accessible, this is a great little device. Just know what you’re getting – it’s a USB hub for data, not a charging dock.

Quality product, check clamp depth.
Good product. Clamp not wide enough to grip my older monitors, but it is built solid and works great

Very nice little hub that fits great on the edge of my desk.
This device was dead on arrival. I have tried multiple cables and 3 different computers. The light comes on but the computer does not see it or anything that is connected to it.After contacting the company they sent a new one that worked perfectly. This unit works great. It looks good and works well with my setup.

It clamps, it works.
This is just one of those goofy items I needed because I wanted a USB hub I could clamp to a desk. Nice aluminum build quality, full range of USB ports. Not much else to say other than it works.

Great purchase.
Easy to assemble and brought the USB ports I needed to a usable place. The clamp and included USB lead cable are pretty good quality.

Works great.
Had to remove the little rubber stop on the end of the screw to make it fit my desk but that's down to my desk, not the unit and the tip popped right off. Now it's on the desk it's not going anywhere.Has a USB-C input for a 5v power supply but it seems to work just fine without it, at last for a single USB stick, not tried it with more than one device plugged in yet.I ran the USB-C cable to my pc under the desk, fixing it in place with some Velco so it's all neat and tidy.Works great.

Ok, but not great
Love the idea of this. But doesn't have enough power to charge anything larger than a phone (like a tablet), though I could get it to charge an iPad if nothing else is plugged into it and I repeatedly plug/unplug it until it charges. Also in my case, the clamp is too small and it kept slipping off of the table edge.
