Our office building has occasional issues with too much moisture, and we have had limited success with dehumidifiers from the home improvement stores and they are usually only good for one season before they fail and need replacing. I haven’t contacted the manufacturer yet, but this $600 dehumidifier is now constantly running in defrost mode and not working. 250 lbs of useless medal in my basement. Have only had for two months. Waiting a day before I turn it back on but shouldn’t be doing what it’s doing.

We have a five bedroom home with a 1400 sq ft basement ,It has been a challenge to keep this home cool over the years ,after consulting with an HVAC specialist he recommended using de humidifiers throughout the house to help keep the AC system less challenged ,this year in particular has been record breaking heat in the Northeast and we determined we needed a unit for the basement because now that the rest of the home has de humidifiers working all day long the basement is now the most humid part of the house and you can literally feel it as you start walking down the stairs.We started using this de humidifier about a week ago and the results were enormous within one day ! there is a setting that you can control how low you want the humidity to go ,the machine constantly monitors the humidity in the air so if you set it at 40 when the humidity reaches the set level the machine will shut off and then turn back on when the humidity climbs above your set position ,the filter is very easy to clean/replace ,simply open the front ,its on a swing hinge and vacuum or rinse the filter ,the pump is strong enough to elevate the dispensed water if the provided hose is in an elevated position ,I would like to note that this machine is not quite at all but it's so powerful that it can be used for just a few hours a day ,we keep ours on all the time because the noise doesn't bother us in the basement ,to comment on the performance of this machine when we initially started the unit it was registering the humidity in the room at 67 % ,the next morning the basement was at 40 % and the feel in the entire area was much more comfortable

We had a floody spring season. This commercial dehumidifier saved my garage space. It works well, plugs in easily, and is clearly leagues ahead of the typical dehumidifiers you can buy at stores. The price was affordable especially considering using this likely saved me ending up with mold and paying for an abatement. If you live in a wet region, or even if you've had issues with your plumbing leaking and want to dry up your home, you can't go wrong with this dehumidifier. I'm sure using it saved me thousands of dollars.
