Mucked around with cheap combos for 5 years then got this!! Its fantastic, can even see the picture when im changing the gas😀

Bought to replace a dying set, we chose this specifically for the recording function & obviously the Avtex name. Unfortunately, it doesn't state anywhere in either the advertising, or on the manufacturer's website that although you can pause, rewind etc. the programme you are watching, there is no facility to record one programme whilst watching another. This is a huge backward step as far as I'm concerned as well as being very disappointing! Having said all that, the picture quality is absolutely superb, if that's all you're looking for, but its an expensive way to get it. Incidentally, if you were thinking of using an external recorder, there is NO scart socket!!

Very impressed with this TV. Have it in my caravan and the setup was simple and worked a treat with the standard aerial I have. Build quality is excellent, feeling very solid and well put together. Display from both DVD and digital TV is good and I would say the sound is pretty good given the spec of the speakers and their size. They certainly don't sound tinny like many cheaper sets suffer from. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good TV for mobile use. You can get cheaper but you get what you pay for.

Excellent TV, good picture, works well on mains and 12 volt. Worth paying extra for a quality product.

Returned this because I chose the wrong model. But the correct model (with sat decoder) is faaaaabulous. In this case, you get what you pay for. Previous tv ( another brand) developed a fault and I could not get anyone to repair it, unlike Avtex which has good customer service. It's perfect for Motorhomes etc. Excellent supplier. When phoned to explain my mistake, he immediately gave me instructions on how to get it replaced by the correct model.

Very happy with avtex tv .had a small problem with tv wasn't put off with this as had heard that avtex customer care is excellent and it is. So glad I had not discarded the packaging!!. thanks to them to and you for a great service.RegardsPNW>
