Reliable Flea and Tick Solution
This product has been exactly what I needed. The easy-to-use topical application is hassle-free. It provides quality flea and tick protection, which is essential for my furry friend. The fact that no prescription is needed makes it even better. It's efficient, convenient, and reliable. Highly recommended!

Flea and Tick Prevention - A Top Choice!
The reason I think this is a really great product is because it's waterproof and doesn't require a prescription. It's also recommended by vets, which gives me peace of mind. The customer service is top-notch and the 7-Way Pest Protection is incredibly effective. Plus, it's easy to use and starts working in as little as 15 minutes. Being a fast-acting 30-day topical treatment, I find it super convenient. Highly recommend!

Did not work, caused hair loss for one cat and vomiting in another.
Unfortunately this didn't work for us. The two cats it was used on are indoor only cats, but our dogs go in and out regularly for walks or restroom breaks. The landlord here doesn't perform lawn pest treatment either, so corrective action is needed when preventative action isn't occurring. One of my cats (10yr old diluted calico) lost a lot of fur around the base of her tail after using this - this hair loss occurred around day 3 and continued for a week. My 2 yr old cat was vomiting a lot on day 2 after the application. Neither cat had a reaction immediately after application and they didnt consume any of it to my knowledge, but this product requires you to put it both on the neck and the back/spine. Cats are too flexible for this kind of application - even if they're too fat to reach either back to directly lick the meds, they still scratch the back of their neck and then lick their feet. The product takes 3-ish days to actually absorb for the most part- that's a long time to risk them ingesting it, plus exposure to owners if the cat is petted. No positive flea control ever happened, so quality gets the 1 star rating too. I spoke with a rep at the company to confirm the expiration date before using the product so I know it wasn't old or expired that lended to the ineffectiveness of the product. I won't buy again, that's for sure.

Perfect
These work great and they’ll be the only flea medicine I will ever buy. We had a bout of fleas and this has taken them away and months later we still have 0 fleas on our beloved cat.

Not sure.
I have only used this recently and at first it didn't seem to be working. But after a couple of days my cat seemed to relax and I could see that alot of the fleas were gone. So four stars for now and if the my cat continues to improve I will put a new review up.

Didn’t work as well as I expected
For some reason we have had a hard year with fleas and mosquitoes in our county this season, even with us treating our yard several times and keeping flea meds on our animals (8 indoor cats, 3 indoor dogs, husband works at a zoo we live in one we also have a bird) we have had no luck at keeping the fleas completely off.Knowing how well their other product works Capstar, I had high hopes for this product. After applying it a flea combed the cats regularly but I always found several alive fleas and my cats were still scratching, fleas must love black cats because they are the worst with them! After it was not working I gave all of them Capstar which works for 24hrs to kill all fleas (works great) I watch the fleas go away, only to watch them come back. I would have put more flea meds on them but it had only been two weeks since the last treatment and I have one cat you would think you were torturing her when you het near her with it; if I am putting it or any flea meds on another cat, her eyes start blinking and watering and she runs off.I do question the amount of meds in the dose since it doesn’t go by different weights I have a couple 20lb cats. With all of that said it just maybe the fleas in our area are just becoming immune to the products currently on the market, I remember when frontline no longer worked for us in 2003.

Good affordable product
I've got over 9 years experience working as a vet tech and the clinic I worked at used capstar for the surgical patients to kill any fleas on them quickly. When I was looking for flea prevention on amazon, I was excited to see the makers of capstar made a monthly topical. I purchased to test it and have been happy with it so far. I also bought some for my dog. It's a more affordable option for what it covers. So far none of my babes have had any issues or side effects with the product and it seems to work as good as the stuff I would purchase from work.

Less traumatic than a bath.
Instead of giving a bath with Dawn, I ordered this for our new 4 lb. kitten. She stopped scratching an hour later. She loves going outside with our other cats which are all supervised. We spend a fortune for flea treatments (8 cats) but it’s worth it not to get them in your home.
