Very fine, transparent, seemingly strong. Hard to knot. Generous 100m for £5.99.
I wanted to make unambitious bead jewellery, but I am afraid I over-estimated my capability. This is obviously a high-quality product. It is hard to imagine a more slender string, and yet it seems unbreakable. As advertised, it is transparent and so will not show when beads are strung on it.The seller claims that this thread is easy to knot. I have not found it so. That is, I knot it, but it immediately springs open and apart again. There must be a trick to this, but the seller has not explained it.I can't say more until / unless I can find an instruction book on bead jewellery-making for beginners which explains knotting. I suggest that if you, too, are a novice, you find a manual BEFORE buying this spool of thread (or any beads). However, the current price of £5.99 for an awful lot of thread is not very dear. Perhaps you can afford to risk the purchase. Good luck!
