My son loves it
We had a perfect day to finally get this RC plane a try. To start, the unboxing/prepping for your first outing is a relatively simple process. You need to attach some wheels, add 4 AA batteries to the controller and charge the batteries for the plane. You're pretty much ready to go. My 10-year-old was able to actually get it in the air on his second attempt. From there, it took him no time to get the hang of it and he was thrilled. It was exciting to be able to use it so successfully with no special skill or knowledge. Which is great because I didn't think the instruction pamphlet was very clear to understand. We only had success with the method of taking off from the hand. It was easier than the runway method for us. Also we never successfully landed it. We crashed it every time so grass is ideal. Because of the crashing, all the wheels broke off. Two of the wheels are attached to the battery cover and that busted off with the wheels so we'll have to glue it back on I think. The plane itself remained intact. So yes it was easy to fly, not so easy to land.

BUTTERFLY IN THE SKY I CAN GO TWICE AS HIGH
This is the second R/C plane I've flown from this company, and so far it has been an amazing experience. On the day that I took it out (for it's first flight) there were strong winds blowing. Now it's usually not advisable to fly R/C planes (or R/C toys in general) when it's windy. And these winds were so bad that when I tried flying a drone later on that day the winds made it impossible. They would literally pull the drone into whatever direction they were going (and this was after using the drone at it's highest speed as well). But when I flew this plane that wasn't the case. While the wind could cause the plane to veer of course it wasn't able to overtake it. This plane had enough power to keep it flying in whatever direction I wanted to see it go. I even had a friend try it that day, and it was their first time flying ever. Now despite it being their first time they were able to keep it airborne, and in the direction they wanted it to go. They actually did a better job than me on my first attempt at flying an R/C plane (ha ha), and even w/their lack of experience they could deal with the high wind speed.Another thing to note is that these planes are made of styrofoam, and so light that I felt concerned about their ability to deal with crashes at first. However, the majority of my flights have ended in crashes, and that worry went right out the window as a result. I'd suggest for anyone using these to avoid flying them over roadways, or any places with active vehicle traffic, and/or a lot of people. A large park, empty baseball field, or other spacious grassy areas seem to work best in my experience.Be aware that this product comes with 2 rechargeable batteries for the plane (which gives users ample amounts of flight time). But users will have to supply 4 AA batteries for the remote control. Assembly is simple, and doesn't require any glue or tools, but I feel it would have been helpful for the company to include instructions on how to do it. That aside I have nothing bad to say about this product, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to feel the thrills of flying for themselves.
