No setup required just plug in and switch on
Saw some good reviews of this on youtube. Purchased to replace a gbit switch that had failed. Thought id upgrade to a 2.5g switch.Didn't need poe so went for this model.Checked my connection from my VM 2.5g port to the switch that I have in the loft. The switch showed it was connected to a 2.5g source. Plugged in all my cat 6 cables to my rooms, switched on and it just worked, nothing else to do.I dont currently have any 2.5g items to see the benefits yet, however all my other connections work without issue. Fingers crossed for longevity.

Good value
Cheap but works very well. I'm getting 2.4Gb between two units over a 50m run. I've only used the RJ45 ports. I've not yet had need of the 10Gb SPF connection.

It works, not get too hot. The plug is inverted so not easy to fit on double power strips!!
It has no configuration but it works. It does not get too hot. I have a Zyxel before that got soo hot that sometimes it hanged, but I have no problems with this one. It has only a one piece UK plug power adapter that it is backwards, so you could not put it any other plug side by side with it on a double power strip, so I will have to but another power strip to connect to the original power strip! (I have one for 4 months ago and just bough another one). The are connected through a SFP with integrated transceiver to a Zyxel with 1Gb, 2Gb and 10Gb sip, and although at least the 2.5Gb are preserved, but I do not have way to inject too much traffic to measure it, since it is unmanaged and thus there is no hardware bonding.

Unknown brand but working well
Excellent router. I bought it not knowing whether it would be any good. I'd never heard of the brand and decided to give it a go. Its connected to my network which is running at 2.5G. Its been working flawlessly since day one. A 1Gb file copies from my Mac mini (using a 2.5G NIC) to the NAS (also 2.5G) in the same time it take the file dialog to actually pop up. I'd buy it again.

Works as expected - tested with multiple 2.5gb devices
I have 3 XT12's connected, along with a MacBook and Windows pc, which all used 2.5gb connections. This unmanaged device worked well for that. My only criticism would be the power cable being at the back - I would have preferred it to be on the same side as the ports, so that I could revert it without having to see the power cable connected to the device when it was on my desk. Having the power cable at the back is great when you are going to rack mount a switch, but on a device meant to sit on a desk/table, I don't think it works as well ascetically.

Very disappointed
We’ve had this device plugged into our home network for about a month. In that time we’ve suffered numerous Wi-Fi dropouts (in a house with two adults working from home, plus two teenagers, that’s not funny). The only change we made was installing this device. My partner is a retired Network consultant and knows what he’s doing. Avoid.
