You cannot ride as a normal bike when power is off, you must pedal against engine and it wont coast.
It says "Ride as a normal bike when power is off." but it DOES NOT, you have to pedal VERY hard AGAINST the engine gears, you CANNOT PEDAL it as A NORMAL BIKE without the throttle or pedal assist running, or even coast at that speed when you let off the power because the engine gear slows you to a stop. Therefore it is not a normal bike its only an electric scooter. I got stuck having to walk this thing back home because trying to pedal it is very difficult after 5 repetitions. Its like trying to propel an exercise bike on the hardest resistance! The pedal crank is small and you have to pedal super fast just to make it speed up, it just spins and has no good grip on the sprocket. Its very close to being a good product.
