Nice rack with fit issues for road bikes...
I bought this rack from my local bike shop with high hopes. In most ways it is a nice rack, but like most products it has issues.Pro:Light and easy to moveThe hold down are on separate posts making it easier it get the correct height for different bike sizes. Some racks use a single post and you need to experiment with which hold down works with each bike. This is better. The wheel trays are easy to move, yet they stay put once tightened.Con:Major issue with drop bar road bikes! The handlebars from one bike hit the frame of the other bike! If you have typical drop bars, they end up about an inch beyond the other bikes top tube or interfere with the saddle. The bikes are too close together by about three inches. This is a no-go deal killer for me in a road bike household, but probably is fine with other bike styles. The knobs on the wheel trays and the hold downs are hard to turn. Really hard. The strap buckles on hold downs and trays are hard to insert, tighten and release. The strap buckles do not seem to have ratchets so you can't snug them down.Still, this is a serviceable rack for the money from a good company. However, because of the close spacing fit problem, I returned it and bought a Yakima Stickup and found it was a better rack for my needs in every way for about the same price.
