I bought this to provide a little ambient light to my girlfriend's bedroom, as she prefers not to sleep in absolute darkness. The light itself is pleasant, with a fun design and made of a nice soft material, but the accompanying remote control doesn't work (even with a new battery).Most of the light's functionality, including the adjustment of the light intensity, is dependent on the remote, so we have to make do with manually bopping the cat's head to toggle between white and multicoloured light, but the white light is a little too bright and the multicolour option switches between colours without any fading transition (presumably options available on the remote).

Nice light, battery lasts a long time and the remote works fine. However, it is a bit sensitive any kind of vibration such as bumping into or knocking the cabinet / surface it is on, which causes it to reset to the colour changing mode. The usb connection was always a bit difficult to connect and after 18 months when the lead was removed the connector from inside the lamp broke off and stayed attached to the lead, which means it can no longer be charged. My soldering skills are rubbish so it's goodbye Fairy Cute Cat, my daughter will miss you!

This is a perfect kids night lamp. Safe and easy to use. A remote control can change the colour and brightness and most importantly can switch light on/off. So no need to creep out of the bedroom in the darkness. Battery life is good too. We use it most nights for an hour or so and it seems to last about a month before re-charging.

Excellent and very comforting to my little boy. Lovely colours would highly recommend product.

It's a lovely lamp but I don't like that at some point it switches off, which kind of defeats it's purpose since it should last through the nightThat's the only reason why I'm only giving 4 StarsThere were issues with the lamp they initially sent but the seller was very helpful and the replacement works fine
