At BreathableBaby, safety is first, last, and everything in between. That's why we have invested countless hours into medical and scientific research to make our products safer. We invented and perfected the breathable mesh liner. Too many babies get their arms or legs stuck in between slats, which can be painful for babies – not to mention scary and exhausting. So we created the mesh liner to simply and safely solve the problem. The original breathable mesh liner with millions sold since 2002. Unlike padded bumpers, our mesh liners keep little limbs safely inside without the risk of restricted airflow. BreathableBaby is all about helping caregivers feel confident and in control – and get some sleep! Simple. Smart. Safe Sleep. Only from BreathableBaby, of course.

Cannot use if your child can stand
I wanted so badly for these to work, by babe is 13 months and gets his leg stuck between the crib rails almost once a night. These are secured with Velcro, so any child that can grasp can pull this off. Also, as my son can stand, he tries to stand on the mesh, causing it to slide down and become a hazard. I would not recommend, Velcro is not an ideal or safe way to secure something to a crib. The small ties are pointless and are too fragile to tie securely to have an impact. Don’t waste your money/time.Ideally a product like this would be one piece, and you would be able to tighten it enough that it doesn’t move. This is multiple pieces and they are cut to JUST fit, so you can only make them so tight

Great Find!
I was VERY hesitant to use these because we try to follow safe sleep habits as much as possible. My son had transitioned to the crib but was getting his limbs stuck in between the bars--- a sleep sac was not an option for us because he uses a DocBand and we need to keep his clothing light to avoid overheating. These were easy to install and feel VERY Secure. they tie on and have a sturdy velcro and have not moved at or come undone at all. I am very happy with my purchase and feel better about the decision to use mesh bumpers!

It Works
I bought this because my infant kept getting his legs stuck in between the bars of his crib. I was worried about breath-ability(he likes to sleep in the corner of his crib), but there was no problem. Fairly easy to install. The only thing I really didn't like was how it made the mattress fit very snugly in the crib and bunched up the sheets. I had to pull them down every time the sheets were changed and make sure they weren't wrinkling up in the bed. Just a minor frustration. Once my son was a little older I removed this liner because he kept pulling it down. But by then he really didn't need it. Overall I am happy with this product.

Wonderful Crib Liner
I searched for this item when I transitioned my son from the his bassinet to the crib. The bassinet had a mesh siding in which he was use to rubbing his fingers over. Also I think the cozy environment made him feel comfortable. He slept through the night. When we transitioned him to the crib he woke frequently. I purchased this to try to mimic the environment of the bassinet and it did the trick. The first night he was not waking as frequently. By the third night he was sleeping through the night. I love that the liner is breathable. I am very concerned about safe sleep but feel comfortable with him being in the crib with the liner in use. Qeaa was I have a mini crib and it does stay in place. I am able to tie it to the top in some areas of the crib.

Lifesaver
This product was recommended to me by my pediatrician because my newborn daughter kept getting her legs and arms stuck in the bars of her crib multiple times a night requiring my assistance to release her. Since getting these she has slept very soundly and can not get her arms caught. These are 100% breathable and if you install them tightly and properly there’s no way they can come undone. I check mine weekly to see if it needs to be tightened but it never has.

Poor engineering
I got this so my daughter wouldnt get her legs stuck between the slats of her crib and followed the instructions for set up to a tee. My 5 month old, at the time, was able to pull it down so it would fall to mattress level and still get her feet and legs stuck. I feel like there could be some silicone backing and velcro used instead of cheap fabric ties that my daughter figured out how to untie eventually too. Not very useful for babies who are mobile.

Does NOT fit standard crib and don’t stay on
These are terrible. We have a standard crib and the two pieces don’t fit around the perimeter resulting in two notable gaps. Many would argue it defeats the purpose. Plus, they just slide down constantly as there is really no way to affix them other than a couple short little ties... lastly, they are thin in width. The material is not pretty but functional, breathable and soft which is the only thing I like. despite reading a bunch of reviews before purchasing, clearly I find them misleading as I would NOT buy these again.

Awesome product!!
This product is AWESOME! personally i expected mesh that would just keep my baby's leg from getting caught in the crib... but this also has cushion to it and is a good thickness... my baby moves around SOO much in his crib and with this product, I'm not worried about him bumping his head on the rails. Bought it as used, so i got even a better price. Thank you!
