Microsoft Xbox 360 20GB Console White (Renewed)

I was apprehensive about getting a refurb of such an old console, but I specifically needed nothing more exotic than a 360. The set from Retrorefresh arrived quickly and well-packaged, and was complete. Most of the pieces could have passed for new or almost new. Unfortunately, the console itself had a ding in the corner, probably suffered during packing or shipping. The unit would not boot up. I emailed Dan at Retrorefresh, as instructed on the card that came with the unit. He immediately offered to send me another unit. The new set arrived about four days later, and was just as nice as the first. It booted up easily, and after updating the firmware, I was able to use the unit just fine. I boxed up the defective unit using the original packaging materials and sent it back to them immediately. Two things impressed me about Retrofresh: The components had been well cleaned and packaged (unlike some of the horror stories that one hears about refurb products); and Dan's quick, no-questions-asked response when I reported a problem. I would gladly deal with these guys again.

First I would like to say if I could give no stars I would.I purchased as a Christmas present but wanted to test it to make sure it worked, so I gave it early. The first issue was the power supply did not fit in to the console. I googled and apparently there are 3 different power supply cords that can fit this particular console. I contacted Amazon support and got no help, so I spent more money to buy the correct power supply cord. When that arrived we tried to test the console again and the HDMI cord that was sent with the console did not fit the console. Worst of all when it was turned on ( because I spent more money on the correct power supply) there was the "red ring if death". I shop online all the time and use Amazon regularly and have never been disappointed with a purchased like I have been with this one. Tomorrow I am returning it. I will not be purchasing another Xbox 360. The nostalgia factor that we were looking for has been completely erased by this huge disappointment.

Came with a complete XBOX 360 with wire hook ups, controller, console and 120gig storage. NOTE that it has the old school wire hook up with the 3 color plugs (yellow, white and red) it does NOT plug into a HDMI smart flat TV. NOT THE SELLERS FALT, THIS IS AN XBOX 360, TECHNOLOGY HAS CHANGED SINCE THEN. But there is a wire you can get from Amazon to make it HDMI compatible. I have an older flat screen so I could play one of my favorite games. It worked perfectly. So glad to play this game again. I will be ordering the HDMI cable soon so I can play it on all my TVs.

Except the provided wireless controller. The left control stick was not functioning correctly and the controller would shut off on it's own.No problem as i had perfectly functioning controllers on hand.The important part was the console itself which happened to function perfectly. No issues or hiccups. I can now enjoy my 360 games again as my old console has been dead for several months,...though it provided over 11 years of service....i hope this renewed unit can provide the same.

I got this Xbox about 2 months ago and still works perfectly, the disk trey works,the controller was in great condition, everything was clean. Didn’t sound like a jet engine when i turn it on. Thanks I saw all the negative reviews and was a bit nervous that’s why I waited a few months to write a review myself and I’ll give it 5/5!

The us plug adapter was not goin in to the Xbox had to buy another one and even then the Xbox would turn on but not work on my monitor

For some reason this Xbox will not play a lot of my games. It keeps showing "Region Code Does Not Match" I have verified the region is correct on the box. The games worked fine with my other box.

Product arrived nicely packaged and not damaged with all parts in place. After I hooked everything up I went to open the disc tray and it would not open. This was the exact same issue I had on my previous Xbox 360. After fighting with the disc tray I was able to get open.Xbox would repeatedly “freeze” and become unresponsive. Only way to correct issue was to unplug power.Do yourself a favor and either don’t buy, or make sure you get a warranty. I was able to return mine and the seller was very easy to work with on the refund process.
