I can’t really even remember why I started taking berberine, but it was recommended to me in a perimenopause group and decided to try. I’ve been taking this for almost a year now. Before i started taking this I had a blood work up saying my cholesterol is slightly elevated. (All other numbers are good, just need to be aware is all) This was a little shocking because I have always eaten a healthy diet and plenty of exercise. Plus I’m vegetarian and don’t eat much dairy products or eggs. When my next blood work up testing came around after I had been taking these a few months my cholesterol had gone down a bit even though my diet and exercise stayed the same. I later learned berberine can help lower cholesterol. So I’m hoping by next blood work up and a few other diet tweaks I’ll have even better numbers.I’m not sure if it helped my metabolism, I’m someone who has always struggled to lose weight. Even being strict it comes off very very slowly. I’m lucky if I can lose one pound and keep it off a month. So didn’t see much change there.

This herbal combination is usually taken for its effects on Blood Sugar & metabolism. That why I started taking it and was able to get my blood glucose readings back withing normal limits by adding a little exercise. What I did t discover until later is that it helps with immune system and to fight infections. Could be coincidence, but after taking it for about 6 months my IGG sun-class immune globulin levels are higher than they have been in 12 years - back into the low normal range for the first time in 12 years! So it's going to help with my Immune System deficiency AND my insulin resistance and diabetes. Nice.Capsules are a little large for me and the powder tastes quite bitter, bit it is tolerable added to applesauce.Will update as I see benefits or side effects. I did have some loose and frequent stool (I wouldn't call if diarrhea- it was too solid) but that side effect disappeared after about 2 weeks and is better if I don't take it with a high carbohydrate meal. Hope others have as much benefit as I do

I gave this item a 3star …. Not for the company or the product, I truly like this berberine supplement from ZHOU. It is because when I opened the package the bottle containing the berberine was smashed.Sadly there is something a foot at Amazon of late. It seems a lot of packages are being delivered damaged and or mishandled…not just us but I have spoken with other family members and friends…they are saying the same…

Great product, it really works to lower your sugar. I ordered it frequently. I have no side effects, no upset stomach

Finished the whole bottle but didn't really see any difference. Some people say it helped with weight loss but I never experience that in spite of me regularly working out. I can't really say it was effective due to lack of changes in my physicality, energy level or feeling good after each use. The pills are relatively small and easy to swallow. It may have a little bit of bitter taste to it. Eitherway, it was worth a shot but not buying this brand again. None of the supposed benefits worked for me.

This product helped me very much with curbing my appetite and helped jumpstart my weight loss before starting a compounded version of Wegovy. But unfortunately I had to stop taking it twice a day and only taking it at night because it was causing my blood sugar to drop too low with the Wegovy. But while I was taking it alone, after a few days I DID notice a difference in my cravings and my appetite! Great product though!

This is my 4th month of using Berberine and I am down 10lbs.It really works with appetite suppression.Take first thing in the morning and you’ll find yourself feeling more full.I haven’t been able to lose any weight by eating healthy and working out for the last 6 years, but since taking 2 of these Berberine capsules per day I am feeling myself again and have lost a healthy amount.I have recommended this product to so many people and had to share my extreme gratitude for making an effective product with a good price.My aunt said her cholesterol has dropped a lot with this Berberine too.
