Having used several other types of wire terminal blocks which have been fiddly to use, usually quite bulky, never really confident they've made good contact and hold, these connect two wires with a very strong grip. Once the wire is in it clamps hard at both ends makng a perfect connection. Fast and easy joining of electrical wires in cramped areas with very little wiggle room to work in. They're slim enough to join wires in shallow back boxes and neatly manouvre them into an area where a faceplate can fit snuggly back in place with confidence you've got a perfect connection.In my case it saved me from having to channel out a light switch wire, re-wire that section with a junction box in the free space between the ceiling and upstairs floor boards. After changing a faceplate the wire had snapped with only 2 cm of wire left to play with to re-connect to the face plate. These were an absolute lifesaver as the wiggle room / length of wire left to play with meant I needed a connection that was quick without any tools to clamp the connection. The wires just slid in and clamped hard giving a perfect connection. It clamps that hard I could not pull them out again.

Simple to use and secure. This is a much better way to join wires, although the extra bulk needs to be taken into consideration when using with trunking. For right spots though, I still use heat shrink tubing.

Perfect for what I needed. Would recommend.

These are a godsend for extending cables for consumer unit replacement or socket replacements where the wires are too short.
