Not cheap and hard to find. Most big box retailers don’t carry anything over 1”.Now days, many irrigation supply stores won’t sell to non-contractors, soAmazon is a great alternative.

These are a great value. My local hardware store doesn't carry these, and the irrigation store wanted twice the price for these. Being able to purchase them on Amazon and have them delivered to my home was the best! I am using these to repair the valves that were installed on our property years ago.

Fixed my problem with an older identical valve with a bad solenoid. Arrived without a solenoid handle for manually actuating (as shown in photo) Had to use the old one

I never understood why someone would spend the extra bucks for a valve like this one until I realized that the reason I was seeing PVC components on my 100+ PSI Irrigation system exploding was because my cheap $25 valves were creating a huge shock wave when they instantly closed. Problem solved!

I needed to replace a valve on my front lawn zone that stayed on constantly. I used this valve to replace the diaphragm and solenoid. I got my zone valve back to normal operation. Great product.

I bought 3 new valves because the old ones were leaking. I took the guts out and just switched them out so I wouldn't have to dig up the entire valve box. Worked great.

I've purchased these before and they are a great product; however, this time when I ordered 4 they stuck them all into a box with no individual wrapping or anything to secure them from into place for the shipment (and the box was much larger than the four valves). These aren't cheap valves and it's not like sprinkler valves are a simple and quick item to replace and check if there was any damage internally from shipping! These are great valves, but order them from another company that's going to package them correctly.
