This post level worked great when I was replacing my mailbox stand. It was so much easier than trying to use a third hand to hold a level against the post base while I was filling in the dirt around the base. I used a 6x6 post and the strap just barely fit around it. It would be perfect for 4x4's. The level indicators were easy to read and easy to put on and off the post.

The only reason I was aware of this was a tick tock video sent to me by one of my children. In the past when I've leveled out fence posts that I'm putting in the ground, usually involves several levels and attaching supporting feet to the Post to keep it where it needs to be. You snapped this on a couple of moves you're able to see both forward and sideways alignment in a breeze! The heavy duty rubber band makes it easy to attach and detach! Very useful and will be part of my toolbox! Seems to be very accurate and easy to read!

I literally could not imagine putting in fence posts without this level. People call it a game-changer. People are right. If you are putting in vertical posts, this is a must. 5 stars because the plastic is sturdy, and the rubber band is stout, both of which were lacking in a similar product I looked at in the big-box store. Level was also dead on as calibrated with other levels that I have.

This would not fit square on a 7 X 9 railroad tie even after adjusting the rubber band may work better on a 4X4 post. Was thinking of just drilling holes both sides and screw to post next time. If i had a helper they would had just held a long level in place while i manipulated these heavy 8ft railroad ties. At least i know when i use metal round poles my magnet level works good for a one man project.

I do wish I had this sooner it is excellent it's very hard plastic drop it and it's not going to work

Used it when a storm with heavy winds caused our privacy fence to lean...a lot. It helped us to make sure it completely straight and not leaning even remotely. Our fence properly secured once more.
