Q: Sorry, I wasn't clear... yes it 'leaks' from top to bottom, but do others have a problem with it leaking out (onto worktop) between the two sections?

I only have a problem with it leaking between the two sections when I put too much water in the top and there isn’t enough room for the filtered in the bottom section. If you don’t over fill the top then I have no problem with the middle leaking.

Q: Would this filter hardened resin particles out of the water from 3D printing?

This is a a water filter that purifies tap water in order to make it safe and healthy to drink. Tap water does not have hardened resin particles in it, in my experience.

Q: what are the actual dimensions of this when fully assembled? 41 cm high seems very small for a 12litre unit. Thanks

It is around 60 cm when fully assembled

It is difficult to know this, if you can remove the thread underneath the end of your tap you have a fair chance that the adaptors and the divertor valve will fit. However we cannot guarantee this.
