Pedro,Excellent question!The safety lights are not waterproof, but rather they are weather resistant, basically meaning they can be used in any weather condition.However, we've had cases where customers have literally used these for swimming, so for the most part they can handle some water. As a rule of thumb, however, I'd advice anyone using the running lights to avoid submerging them into water. Great product. I attached mine to my armband case when jogging and it stayed on fine. Also use it attached to horse-riding clobber. Pretty sturdy I reckon... plus there is a Velcro fastener included if preferred which is v strong (but little so needs to be looked into something else).
