I just left a negative review as one of the items didn’t work. But I suppose these things happen from time to time. But just spoke to their tech support which was extremely helpful and said he would send a replacement. I was maybe a bit harsh before as their support is 5* which in my eyes is key when the odd thing goes wrong!

The charger is compact and, based on using it for one short break, robust. Although not particularly fast/powerful especially when charging two items it is adequate. Being able to use an EU wall socket directly is a real advantage.

There are a few reviews about this item being faulty. Mine does not work at all, phone connects and disconnects all the time and does not charge. The cable is brand new, Apple branded and works perfectly with other plugs so the issue is with this item. Unfortunately Amazon has asked me to return it at my expense which makes no sense because it will cost as much to return it as the item itself cost, so it is not worth it. Stay away from this item.

My wife and I have spent a month travelling in Europe by Interrail in recent years and have bought this for use in trains and in Airbnb's. Small and compact and it looks ideal for EU and Switzerland where we send a lot of time. Have tested through a UK adaptor and is charging devices quickly..

Travel in Europe a lot.Easier than having an adapter on a uk charger.Works great.Although now most hotels have USBs in now.
