Small in size, easy to operate, nothing to dislike. It’s very, very simple, but if all you want is to watch DVDs it’s all you need. Plugged into TV and mains outlet with cables supplied, inserted supplied batteries into remote, and it was working within 5 minutes. Two issues for me: 1. The second night nothing would work, but renewing the remote batteries cured it. The first batteries were in a sealed package within the box, so they must have been old or faulty. 2. The remote seems to work on the same frequency as my soundbar. If I switch on the DVD player with the remote, the soundbar turns off. Pressing ‘play’ changes the input on the soundbar and cuts the sound. Solution: get the DVD playing as it should be, and then play with soundbar remote to restore sound. A bit of a fiddle, but not a deal breaker. Overall, happy with it.

I'm delighted with this quality DVD player, also plays CD's to boot. I remember the days you had spend a shed load to get a clear and undistorted picture quality with matching sound quality. An absolute bargain and defo value for money. The bonus it is a doddle to use.

it is compact and works DVD. It does not play video mp3 at USB as mentioned. For USB the video format needs to be changed to different e.g mpeg. It should be mentioned clearly to avoid confusion

Absolutely superb. No set up required, just plug into the mains via the USB cable (supplied), connect to the TV via the HDMI cable (also supplied), switch on and off you go. Unlike other reviewers we did not notice any discernible noise. My husband is thrilled that he can now watch his DVDs from America. At under £40 this is astonishing value for money. Cheap tat. Unboxed it and it never worked. Discs paused on their own, remote worked about 25% of the time.Sadly I unboxed it 2 months after buying it so unable to return it.

This is about the same size as a late-production CD Walkman but due to needing no heavy batteries (unlike the former) it is probably only around 200g in weight!To have such a compact DVD player was ideal for my bedroom set up. It will only have very occasional use, but with the added convenience of a remote control it really is outstanding value for money.Time will tell on reliability. I have read of some concerning issues from other buyers, but so far it seems all good.I bought a tiny aluminium shelf to house it under the TV.As an added bonus in versatility, if you are pushed for space (not that it has a big footprint) the device can be used both horizontally or vertically for playback.

Got it next day with Prime. Extremely small, easy to set up and very functional. Picture quality is very good and would be very easy to take on holiday. Very pleased with my purchase.

Lightweight, unsophisticated, but functional. Bought to carry with us in our campervan. Generally we’re happy to sit outside by a campfire, and watch the sun go down with a bottle of wine when camping. But when the weather turns rough and we’re forced inside it’s nice to have some entertainment. That could be from tv via our aerial, or streamed via 4G, but sometimes we’re in a signal black spot. That’s when this little device comes into its own. Just be aware, it won’t play BluRay DVDs, but hey, I’m not expecting cinema quality at this price or in the van!
