However, for a basic appliance with minimal features, the price feels a little high compared to similar models on the market. Still, if you want a reliable option with the Amazon Basics branding, it’s a solid buy.

I m using this for 6 months. a good product at a reasonable price.Only concern is the steel plate has got sort of rusted.Boil time is nearly 20 minutes and it has a shut down timer, so no need to bother about watching the eggs, while you do work.

Eggs cook fine but this product is brought down by it's measuring cup. You need to consult the manual page to figure out how much water is needed for boiling different types and quantities - this should have been marked on the measuring cup itself. Cup isn't big enough for filling in one go, you have to pour out multiple times!! The egg puncturing pin is plastic which causes eggs to crack.
