Q: No added sugar, artificial preservatives or flavour but negates to mention added Stevia sweetener listed in the ingredients. How much Stevia is there?

Hi Dave, Thanks for the question. As you may know, more and more manufacturers are turning to Stevia, including the largest drinks companies. Although a small company, we've used Stevia for a few years now as we recognise the benefits it brings vs other, especially artificial, sweeteners. To date we haven't had any issues and when developing Dr Funk, we add Stevia Glucoside at a level of 32mg per litre, or 9.6mg per 330ml can. While there are no formal guidelines for the use of Stevia, some countries do recommend limiting its use to 80mg per litre, and clearly we are less than half of that. While we are not aware of any issues with Stevia, we'd be happy to hear from you with any further comments. If you think this is acceptable, and would like to try Dr Funk, we'd be happy to send you a sample and see if you enjoy our clean, refreshing taste.
