I don't write reviews often, but I've played this game with kids, family, friends and strangers and was compelled to because this game is SO great! Its rules are simple, straightforward and can be picked up by anyone. We've brought it to a restaurant to pass the time before the food arrives. I've played it with my teenager and her friends. I played with my partner and other adults. In all instances we've all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and laughed like crazy- especially when trying to explain some of the cards to younger kids! Don't worry the After Dark expansion set is packaged separately and the basic game is definitely family friendly. I love that none of our friends and family owned this game before we introduced them. Makes a great gift!! Don't hesitate to purchase if you're looking for a fun game with simple rules.

Love this game!! It is so easy to play and such a great and funny way to get to know someone or a group. The white cards are everyday things that people will have opinions on- and safe for all ages. The black cards mix things up! Use them sparingly or not depending on the crowd.The directions are super simple (no one wants to read a novel full of instructions) and it is fun to play cooperatively against “the game”.It comes with a TON of cards on all kinds of topics and you can mix them up for endless combinations.What I love best is that it sparks conversation and laughter. You will for sure laugh and probably learn something new about the players even if it’s someone you know well. Great for a date, family night, or with coworkers.Had a blast playing and definitely will be my go to when having friends over or on my next getaway (and it’s compact so easy to transport)!Get it!

This game was fun for maybe one round it was very boring. I didn’t think it was worth the money

Bought for a bachelorette party. Everyone had a fun time getting to know each other a little better, and found the 'after dark' ones funny and on theme for the party. However unless I had another party like that I don't know when I'll ever use it again.

This is a GREAT game. Easy to learn and fun to play. It’s a hit every time I bring it to a game night. However, I’m rating this two stars because I never received the After Dark version (which was really the only version I wanted but they are not sold separately). No big deal, Amazon says they’ll send another set… which does not include the After Dark version. Contact Amazon again and they basically said don’t buy it here. I’m hoping the seller sees this review and helps me out!But it’s a great game and you should get it
