Amazing ice maker! How did I survive without it?
What can I say? I am an ice junkie. From coffee, to water, orange juice or coke, I love my drinks to be ice cold and probably use more than necessary. Preparing for a scorching summer on the North East, I caved in and figured that if I was lucky, I was going to save a lot of money by not having to buy an ice bag weekly and also save some frustration because, let's face it, these ice trays are annoying and then ice "has a taste to it". Anyway, I made the right call! I use every day for a couple of hours, save the ice in a bag and use it throughout. As soon as the bag is half empty, I start the ice maker again. It's quick, it's efficient, it's quiet: it's perfect for my needs! If you're a ice junkie like me, don't hesitate and go for it!

Good quality and speed. Is a little noisy but that doesn't bother ne.
This worked out perfectly for my needs. It makes ice fast, first batch in under 6 minutes. You can make as much or little as you want. I use mine daily and love it. Doesn't take up a lot of space and looks nice. Comes with a cute little scoop.

Ice when I need it!
So far so good. I purchased this to replace one that I had had for a very long time that finally broke. The one I had worked great and lasted for years so I knew what I wanted in a replacement. My old one was very big and took up a lot of counter space, this one to me is perfect size. I can put it on the countertop under the cabinets and the lid can fully open with no problem. My old one was very loud, this one is about the same. You can hear it making ice in the other rooms of the house. My old one kept the ice cold for a decent amount of time before starting to melt. (When the ice melts you end up having to use the scoop and break up the ice because it sticks together.) The old one was more square and the ice sat deeper in the machine so it was decently insulated. This new one the ice is closer to the top and the lid is very thin plastic so not as insulated. The old one though was really hard to get the ice out because it sat so deep in the machine so I wanted one where the ice would be easier to get to. In the end I guess I traded ice melting sooner for better access to the ice. This new one has the ability to make 2 sizes but I just use the large size because it’s a good size and again I feel like the smaller ones would melt faster and stick together even more. The old one didn’t have the self clean and it was so hard to keep it clean and the ice fresh. I knew I wanted a self cleaning with the new one and this one seems to do a great job with that. although it does take quite a few minutes to complete the cleaning process. I usually try to clean it once a week but they recommend in the manual every couple of days I think. It did come with a blue plastic all over it to protect the stainless steel. I thought they sent me the blue color at first and I started to return it until I realized it needed removed. The stainless steel is tough to keep nice as well. Does show water lines and marks like many stainless steel products. Lastly, it has lights on the front to tell you when the ice is full and it needs water. This is probably the most annoying thing, you can obviously tell when the ice is full so kinda not needed, but the needs water only lights up when it’s really low so I’m constantly having to lift the basket up to see how much water is in it and if it does get low enough that the needs water light comes on, if you add water it won’t automatically start making ice. You have to shut the machine off and turn it back on again for it to recognize it has enough water. All things considered, I’m very happy with this ice maker.

Getting ice quickly
The unit works as advertised. The ice cubes are kind of flimsy the first two cycles, but it works well afterwards. We are pleased to be able to get ice fairly quickly and we store the cubes we don't use in the freezer. The reservoir holds about 6 cups of water and we can almost fill a 1 gallon zip lock bag.We have had the unit for about a month, and think it was money well spent.

Love this hardworking ice maker!
I purchased this to help with my recovery from knee replacement surgery since my freezer is too small to make any ice. It makes ice cubes every 9 minutes & worked 24 hours as long as you cleared the full cache of ice cubes & refilled the water. Great product and quiet. Will be fun for a party.

BUYER BEWARE YOU ARE ON YOU OWN---6/9/25 UPDATE
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! I purchased this icemaker on March 17, 2025. Before I proceed, I should clarify that I am an engineer by education and vocation. Anyone who knows an engineer knows that we have a tendency to be anal retentive. The ice marker arrived, I unpacked it and followed the manufactures instructions to the most minute detail. I let the icemaker set over night before adding water and turning it on. The icemaker operated as you would expect, making ice. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of ice produced. It operated just fine until two (2) days after the 30 days return window. Suddenly the ADD WATER notification light stopped working and when the icemaker was low or out of water it still tried to make ice. I had registered the icemaker for warranty on the day it arrived on HUOMY's website. I went to the HUMONY web site and filled out the claim request providing all the information requested. After a few days I received an email requesting essentially the same information I had previously provided when I filed a claim with the additional request to provide a video that showed what was happening or not happening. I complied and submitted all the requested information. Later that same day (give them credit for being timely) I received another email with instruction to drain the water (which I had already done before) and restart the icemaker (I completed the request with the same results, no WATER ADD indication). They also requested and provided a video for me to remove the control panel to confirm the connections. I completed the task and surprise there were no loose or broken connections. WHAT WE HAVE HERE IS THE CLASSIC NONEXISTENCE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AVOIDANCE OF BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PRODUCT. I HAVE ABSOULTELY NO EXPECTATION THAT EUHOMY HAS ANY INTEREST IN RESOLVING THIS ISSUE (THEY ARE SANDBAGGING ME) OR PROVIDING RESPONIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF YOU ELECT TO PURCHASE AN EUHOMY ICEMAKER EXPECT TO BE ON YOUR OWN AND ACCEPT RESPONSIBILY THAT YOU HAVE BEEN FOREWARNED. GOOD LUCK6/9/25 UPDATE: Since I wrote so much negative, I now have to write something positive. My initial experience as outlined above was with Euhomy's technical support. After serval rounds with the technical support with no positive results I was finally contacted by someone in Euhomy's customer service and everything changed. The customer service I received was exceptional. After I explained everything that had occurred the customer service people immediately sent me a new icemaker. So far it is working great. Hopefully it will last longer than the first one. I would give the customer service 5 stars. I rated 3 stars until I see how long this icemaker actually works.
