Range Technology RA007 DFM Module Compatible with GM Refresh V8 Trucks and SUV

I purchased this item a little over a month ago. I believe I left a review but it kicked back for reasons only Amazon could explain. Anyway, after driving approximately 100 miles daily I found this product to work well. The installation was super easy. My fuel mileage is unchanged. If this item prevents an engine failure, it will be well worth the investment.

Easy install! Works perfectly. No more turning off the stop/start.Shutting off the DFM has increased my MPG by 1 to 2 . Full V8 power all the time.

Like a different truck! Immediate difference after the literal 10 minute install. It’s actually enjoyable driving a V8 rather than the sluggish 4 cylinder. Works as advertised, highly recommend!

I read some reviews that said they received a returned product. I believe these are brand new. The packaging isn't the most impressive and the part is not wrapped on the inside but it is brand new. I saw a YouTube video where it was unboxed and it looked exactly the same as mine.The product works.Buy it.2023 sierra with the 5.3 runs like a dream now .Auto stop is also disabled although the dash light remains illuminated100% recommend

Install was super easy. Took longer to disconnect the battery than it did to install the module. Just turn the wheel all the way to the left and bend the liner out of the way. Liner will fall back into place without an issue when you’re done. Worth every penny!

This review is after having the Range installed for over 1000 miles.My avg mph for the last 1000 miles was .3 less than it was for the previous 1000 miles I drove. This means I did more city driving than highway which should make my MPG go down but it didn't. My MPG actually went up from 15.2 to 16.0.15.2 was without the Range for 1000 miles avg mph of 29.016.0 was with the Range for 1000 miles avg mph of 28.7I have also noticed that the shifting on my 2024 Silverado 1500 (5.3L) has been better and smoother in general. It still does a random clunk every once in a while but it is not as bad as it was without the Range installed.The truck just seems to run better in general and the throttle response is great.I would recommend this to anyone who is sick of the auto start/stop and cylinder deactivation.

Can immediately tell at low speed. Also, very nice to not have that stupid start stop.

Product works great to rid my 2025 Chevy of the auto stop and AFM, the only issue I have had is it also removed the minimum speed engagement for my cruise control resume. Any time moving above 0 mph, it will engage the cruise if you hit the resume, which can be a little scary if you accidently hit the resume during a turn.
